I think this is a lovely photograph. The one thing that stands out to me is that it's really standard though. While I do enjoy nature, I feel that all of us can do something to make nature more pronounced in our works. I'm in disagreement with the other critiques, finding that the black and white color scheme isn't doing it for me. Granted, the original colors of the picture may also be cliche and make it lost in the sea of other landscape photographs. What I would suggest is to play with the colors, make them more dramatic. If you have a photo editing program like photoshop, you have that power. Also, the horizontals in this photograph are much too strong to the point where it's distracting. I understand that you can't control nature but perhaps you could've gone to different view point or wait until other times. The clouds are horizontal, the rocks are horizontal, the sea is horizontal, and the coast is horizontal. If I were to change something in this picture, I would crop off that line of rocks. They're so horizontal that they don't even seem to be from the work of nature. While it's a pleasant photograph, there could be a lot more that could be done.
